Haze strains have a reputation for being demanding. They have a long flowering cycle, are sensitive to environmental conditions, and their readiness for harvest is hard to gauge. Indoors, growers compensate by controlling the environment. Outdoors, there’s no way to compensate—you just have to wait.
Every extra week the plants spend in the ground is another week exposed to wind, temperature fluctuations, and the Rif’s UV rays. It’s pure agricultural risk, and that’s why most hash growers opt for shorter strains.
The cross with Cannatonic targets this exact issue. This strain doesn’t contribute any aroma; it provides hardiness and a reliable CBD content—enough to ensure a Haze strain can go the distance outdoors.
What remains of the Haze after this cross is evident in the report: terpinolene and ocimene, the two highest levels in our range. Hand-pressed, with no cutting agents or additives.
The top notes in the profile below resemble those of our other Rif resins: a woody compound forming the base, pepper right behind it, followed by a floral sweetness. This is the common foundation of the terroir.

They do not dominate the profile, and you shouldn’t expect them to jump out at you. They reveal themselves gradually, in the background. That’s what makes this batch a gradual experience rather than an immediate one.

Cannatonic is the opposite: a strain stabilized for cannabidiol, robust, consistent, and without a pronounced aroma. It reliably produces high CBD levels, generation after generation.
Crossing the two is like trading some of that aromatic expressiveness for the ability to thrive outdoors. The result boasts 21.3% CBD —that’s the Cannatonic—and retains the terpene markers of the Haze family, at higher levels than in our other batches.
These markers alone do not define a variety: some of our other resins contain them, albeit at lower levels. But their concentration here is consistent with what was sown.
This batch is grown in Bab Berred, just like No. 0015 and No. 0017. Three resins from the same terroir, using the same extraction process and harvested in the same season—and three profiles that are unmistakably distinct.
What the location provides is consistent: strong UV exposure and marked temperature fluctuations—two stressors to which the plant responds by producing more trichomes. This resinous base is present in all three.
The rest depends on what is planted there. No. 0015 pushes two opposing molecules to their maximum; No. 0017 builds a layered fruity profile; and No. 0014 retains the hallmarks of its Haze lineage. The terroir provides a framework—it does not determine the content.
With a Haze strain, it adds a challenge: the long growth cycle exposes the plant to these same constraints for several additional weeks.

To be precise: some of our other batches also contain these compounds, at slightly lower levels. This is therefore not an exclusive signature but a pattern—consistent with what was planted, and verifiable in the report.
Like any unprocessed dry sift, this resin contains a fraction of plant material. The sieve separates the trichomes from the rest of the plant; it does not isolate them completely.
A final electrostatic sifting process would remove this residue, retaining only the trichome heads. But concentrating the trichome heads concentrates everything they contain, including THC—and with an initial THC content of 0.96%, the margin is slim. What the sieve allows through is precisely what maintains the balance of the finished product.

Nothing immediately stands out, and that’s what makes this batch unique. The resinous, earthy base notes come through first, enveloped in a subtle floral sweetness. The herbaceous freshness characteristic of the Haze lineage is there, but very subtle—you have to look for it.
Caryophyllene provides the framework for its woody and slightly spicy notes, while myrcene rounds them out with fruity and earthy accents. The profile unfolds in successive layers rather than all at once. With 1.7% terpenes, the intensity is moderate but the depth is there.
Oily, dense, and sticky. The bud softens in the warmth of your hand and releases its aromas as soon as you handle it, often before you’ve even decided to smoke it. It doesn’t crumble. Golden-yellow hue.
A storage tip: avoid extreme cold. Terpinolene is among the most volatile molecules in the profile, and it’s the one you’ll lose first.
Once cut, the flowers are not sifted out. They undergo a two-month curing process in the dark, under controlled temperature and humidity conditions.
What this process produces is not an increase in material—it’s the opposite. The most volatile compounds escape; the harshest ones disappear first; and the chlorophyll breaks down. What remains is a more rounded flavor, without the green notes of resin that has been sifted too early.
Two months of tied-up inventory from an already limited batch: this is a direct cost with no corresponding increase in volume. The only reward lies in the jar.

Robustness and CBD content. This is a strain stabilized for cannabidiol, which it reliably produces, and it performs well outdoors. It does not have a distinctive aroma. The 21.3% CBD content comes from this strain; the terpene profiles come from Haze.
Because time changes the profile. Over the course of these two months, the chlorophyll breaks down and the most aggressive compounds are released, which removes the harshness from resin that was sifted too early. This isn’t a gain in yield—on the contrary, some of the terpenes are lost in the process. It’s a choice of smoothness over intensity.
Store in an airtight, light-proof container at 16 to 18 °C for general use.
