Myrcene is the terpene that gives ripe mango its rich, slightly musky roundness. It’s also one of hemp’s major terpenes. When a strain produces enough of it, the fruit’s scent emerges on its own—without any added flavoring.
The Mango x Lemon cross was bred over several seasons to preserve this prominent note without overpowering the second signature aroma: that of the lemon beldi. This Moroccan lemon is drier and more tart than the European lemon: it cuts through the fruit’s richness rather than blending into it.

Mango and Lemon are two strains that are easy to cross on paper. Getting them to coexist without one flavor profile overshadowing the other requires several seasons of selection.
The risk with myrcene is well known: as a dominant terpene, it tends to mask the more subtle notes. In the first few generations, the citrus notes were overshadowed by the fruitiness. Selection therefore focused on plants that retained enough alpha-pinene to keep the freshness at the forefront of the nose.
It is this balance between the two—not the CBD content—that defines the batch’s identity.
